A. E. Fagan

Alexis Eleanor Fagan (she/they) is a Brooklyn-based Disabled interdisciplinary and multisensory artist, working in Disability Arts. She creates socially-engaged, multisensory, interactive experiences including, but not limited to: paintings, sculpture, games, software, installations, soundscapes, accessible spaces, neurodivergent design interventions, and conceptual art, among other things. She is currently expanding her practice by engaging with the conceptual workings derived from the notion of play as an aesthetic. She holds an BFA from Parsons New School of Design, her recent work was included in I Wanna Be With You Everywhere at Performance Space NYC (2023), and she was an invited resident in Art Beyond Sight’s Art + Disability Residency (2021-22).
